Tick Tock: 701 Days Without a Budget

Tick Tock the Budget Clock Goes to Springfield to Hold Bruce Rauner Accountable

Chicago, IL – Yesterday, on Day 700 without a budget, Tick Tock the Budget Clock headed to Springfield for the final day of regular legislative session.
Tick Tock brought a certificate of “achievement” along with him to mark the 700th day of Rauner’s historic and record-breaking budget impasse. Illinois has gone without a budget for longer than any other state in the country…ever.
While Tick Tock searched high and low for Bruce Rauner, the failed governor was nowhere to be found. But Illinoisans can rest assured, Tick Tock remains on the job.
